Jake Hanson has always dreamed of landing a job with a company like Rheinco- the European Pharmaceutical Giant. An apparently random act of violence on the streets of New Orleans, took the life of the previous sales rep, giving Jake the opportunity of a lifetime. The dream however soon turns ugly, as Jake with the help of a beautiful co-worker discovers that his predecessor's murder may not have been a random act at all, but rather a well planned professional hit. Through some amateur detective work, Jake finds himself uncovering a number of shocking secrets about his dream firm. The new "miracle vitamin" whose launch is just weeks away has a devastating side-effect. Trying to discover the truth about his new company takes Jake from the beauty of the San Antonio Riverwalk to the seedy back streets of New Orleans all the way to Frankfurt Germany. Here he must find the only man who knows the truth, before a pair of demented assassins hired by Rheinco beat him to it. What really goes on behind the doors of a huge multinational corporation?
